LCL TEARS A complete or partial tear of the LCL usually occurs when you receive a blow to the inside of your knee, causing it to stretch beyond its normal range of motion. A complete or partial tear of the PCL usually occurs when your knee is severely twisted beyond its normal range of motion or from a direct frontal blow to the tibia. |
